Long Bio (Full Version)
Emmy-nominated television personality and host of The Silence Between Hello, an audio memoir that reached 27,000 downloads in its first week. Using 30+ minutes of her late mother's preserved voicemails, the podcast explores how love transcends even the deepest ideological divides—a story that clearly resonates with audiences hungry for authentic family narratives.
Jenny has spent over a decade in storytelling and media production. She co-founded Ink Slingers podcast, where she interviewed 40+ bestselling memoirists and biographers. She co-founded and edited LIV Literary Journal, and currently produces the BIO Podcast for the Biographers International Organization. With an MA in Biography & Memoir, she wrote her thesis on her family's Scandinavian immigration story and how they "became white" in early 1900s America. As a trained oral historian, she's collected dozens of interviews from women who left Laestadianism—work that forms the basis of a collective memoir she's currently writing.
Her expertise spans both storytelling and women's health. As a personal trainer for 20+ years, she's built a successful practice serving celebrity and high-profile clientele, specializing in maternal health and pre/postnatal fitness.
What drives her work: Growing up in a fundamentalist religious sect, Jenny learned early that the most powerful stories often live in the spaces between what we're allowed to say and what we actually feel. Her father—an epic storyteller despite his speech impediment—taught her that every person has a fascinating story worth telling.
Whether through podcasting, writing, or wellness coaching, Jenny creates spaces where people's most authentic stories can be heard and honored.
